About CalcPad
Last updated: May 2026 · Reviewed quarterly
CalcPad was built because existing UK tax calculators were slow, ad-heavy, and used outdated rates.
CalcPad now has 58 calculators covering UK tax, salary, mortgages, pensions, and business finance. Every single one uses the current 2025/26 HMRC rates. I update them within a week of any budget announcement.
Who am I?
Built by NexoraOS Ltd. Every calculator is tested against real HMRC rates before publishing.
Why is it free?
The site is supported by advertising. That means no premium tiers, no sign-up walls, and no locked features. I think basic financial tools should be accessible to everyone, not gatekept behind a paywall.
Are the calculations accurate?
Yes. I cross-reference every calculator against HMRC published rates, thresholds, and examples. If the budget changes rates, I update within days. If you spot something that looks wrong, please get in touch — I take accuracy seriously because I use these tools for my own money.
Privacy
All calculations run in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server. I use minimal analytics (Plausible, which is cookie-free) to see which calculators are popular so I can prioritise improvements. That is it.
Why trust CalcPad?
- Built and maintained by a real UK taxpayer — not a content farm
- Rates updated within days of HMRC announcements
- Used by the author for his own personal and business finances
- No sponsored results or paid calculator placements
- Open about methodology — each calculator shows its formula
